Dr. Pelton edits May/June 2010 issue of American Book Review

by Kara Kane on August 4, 2010

Dr. Ted Pelton, professor of humanities, guest edited the May/June 2010 issue of American Book Review, which had a theme of micropresses. Along with writing the introduction, he collected statements from fourteen of the country’s leading independent publishers in a discussion of the rise of American publishing by small publishers and the impact this has had on recent American literature.

Dr. Pelton also is the publisher at Starcherone Books, a independent small press with a catalog of fiction titles by authors such as Raymond Federman and Aimee Parkison.
