DeKay named Dean of Student Affairs

Medaille College has named Amy DeKay to the position of Dean of Student Affairs at its Buffalo Campus. A graduate of Medaille, she began working for the college as Director of Student Activities / Campus Center Operations. In 2009, she took over the responsibilities of Interim Dean of Student Affairs.

Medaille's "Big Check" scholarship given in Rochester

Medaille College presented a check representing a $2,000 scholarship to Ebony Lawrence, an employee at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield in Rochester, in June. Lawrence will begin the associate of science in business degree program at Medaille College’s Rochester Campus in September 2010.

Medaille student returns from semester abroad in Australia

Medaille student Chelsea Buzyniski, who will be a senior in the fall, returned from Sydney, Australia, after spending the spring semester studying at Macquarie University. Buzyniski is an elementary education major who has played for the Medaille women’s soccer team for the past three years.

Dr. Dunkle earns Ed.D. in Educational Leadership

Dr. Susan Dunkle, visiting instructor in the School of Education,  successfully defended her dissertation, “Remediation of Math Anxiety in Preservice Elementary Teachers,” for the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from D’Youville College on Thursday, April 15, 2010.
