Senior staff members of the Perspective traveled to New York City to participate in the 2010 National College Media Convention. The convention, which took place from March 13 to 16, offered networking and skill-building opportunities, as well as the chance to receive critiques from professionals in the field.

In addition, the convention featured prominent speakers such as New York Times journalist Brian Stelter and co-anchor of ABC News’ Nightline Terry Moran. Students attended sessions on a wide variety of subjects, including design, writing, photography, advertising, and web publishing.
