Medaille College and Phillips Lytle LLP are teaming up to acknowledge the accomplishments of individuals and organizations in Western New York who contribute to the advancement of their communities. The Father Medaille Awards for Service and Citizenship will honor efforts in furthering a community effort that serves those in need in Western New York. One local organization will receive a $5,000 award; one individual will receive a $1,000 award; and, one Medaille graduate will receive a $1,000 award. Award winners will be announced at the Medaille College Founders’ Day Celebration, scheduled for April 15, 2010 at the Medaille College Buffalo Campus.
Nominees will be asked to outline how they would use the funds from the award to help their organization and/or their individual efforts. Representatives of non-profit organizations, community groups and social service organizations are encouraged to complete a nomination.
