by Kara Kane on December 8, 2009

Two of Dr. Alan Bigelow’s digital stories, “When I Was President” and “Because You Asked,” recently appeared in the exhibit “MediartZ: Art as Experiential, Art as Participatory” at the Northbank Artists Gallery in Vancouver, Washington. In conjunction with this exhibit, the same pieces also appeared in the online peer-reviewed journal Hyperrhiz at Hyperrhiz.net.

Two other works, “Brainstrips” and MyNovel.org were recently in an exhibit “Reading Rebooted: Glimpsing the future of Literature in the Digital Age” at the Kipp gallery, Indiana University of Pennsylvania. “Brainstrips” also appears, in its debut publication, in the online journal Blackbird (Virginia Commonwealth University).

Bigelow’s most recent digital story, “Archetypal Africa,” can be seen at webyarns.com. He is a professor of humanities at Medaille.
