Grim’s 8mm Film Shown at the Albright Knox Gallery
Courtney Grim, Associate Professor of Humanities, had her experimental 8mm film “Duck and Cover” shown on Friday, December 5 at the Albright Knox Gallery as part of its Gusto at the Gallery series. The event included classic, new experimental, and avant-garde shorts by international and local artists.
Don Metz composed new scores for classic and new experimental and avant-garde shorts by international and local artists. The performance included Anemic Cinema by Marcel Duchamp; L’Etoile de Mer by Man Ray; and works by more recent filmmakers such as Nicole Rademacher, Angeles Cossio and local filmmaker Michael Lent.
