School of Education Offers Presentation on Educational Leadership through Mentor Mondays Series
Medaille College’s School of Education will host the second in a series of five presentations to help teachers be successful in the classroom.
On Monday, December 1, Jim Thompson, Visiting Assistant Professor of Education, will present on “Leadership. . . The Key to Beating the Odds” at 5 p.m. at Medaille’s Amherst Campus, Sullivan Multipurpose Room.
Thompson has been an educator for the past 35 years, with experiences as a social studies and reading teacher, assistant principal and principal. He was the New York State Elementary Principal of the Year in 1993, and was a National Distinguished Principal in 1994.
Each event is open to current students, faculty, alumni and interested community members. All sessions will be held at Medaille’s Amherst Campus at 30 Wilson Road, Williamsville, NY.
