On October 4-5, 2008, two Medaille student-athletes travelled to the NCAA Division III Student-Leadership Conference in Pittsburgh, Penn.
Dan Barrancotta, president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and Mandy Sahhar, SAAC public relations office, learned about leadership methods, and developed an action plan for becoming more connected with students on campus.
“Dan and Mandy took full advantage of the opportunities at this conference,” said Andrea Belis, academic enrichment coordinator. “They connected with other student-athletes and discussed programming opportunities for Medaille.”
