Students reading at the Charter School for Applied TechnologiesMedaille College student-athletes participated in the week-long Celebration of Reading event at the Charter School for Applied Technologies in Buffalo on Thursday, September 18 and Friday, September 19. Representatives from Medaille’s women’s volleyball, women’s cross country, softball, men’s volleyball, women’s basketball and baseball teams read to elementary students at CSAT as they wore their team uniforms.

“Our student-athletes love to get out into the community,” said Andrea Belis, academic enrichment coordinator. “For elementary education, middle childhood education and adolescent education majors, it’s an especially good way to spend time with kids in a casual setting.”
