The Medaille College PsyD Advisory Board held its first meeting on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Medaille’s Amherst Campus. Dr. Lynn Horne-Moyer led a discussion on PsyD courses, admissions standards, training, and resources for the proposed program among the group of 18 board members and participants from Medaille.
Medaille College is seeking permission from the state of New York to begin a Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology (PsyD). As part of this process, the advisory board will provide a vital connection to the mental health and healthcare communities of western New York. The advisory board will meet twice a year and consists of health and mental health professionals, students, and community members. The next board meeting is planned in October 2008.
