Men’s Basketball Season Ends at Cortland State
The Mavericks saw its most successful season in eight years come to an end in the ECAC Quarterfinals as they fell to Cortland State (81-69). The men’s basketball team held the lead for much of the game but came unraveled in the late stages before succumbing to the Red Dragons. The Mavs received a command performance off the bench from sophomore forward Kelly Condello (Fairport, NY/Fairport) who had a team high 19 points on 9 of 13 shooting from the field. In the final game of his career, senior James McNeil (Erie, PA/North West Collegiate) finished with 12 points as the guard leaves as the school’s all-time leading scorer. With the loss the Mavs finish the season at 15-13.
