Bigelow’s Digital Works Receive National Attention

Alan BigelowThe digital works of Dr. Alan Bigelow, professor of humanities, continue to be recognized by digital media organizations and online media outlets.

When I Was President,” a digital story, was published in the Fourth Annual International Juried Exhibition of the Digital Media & Electronic Arts Program at California State University. CSU released the online exhibition in December 2007.

Muster Magazine interviewed Dr. Bigelow as part of the Hey Artist Get Interviewed series for its February 2008 issue.

Four of Dr. Bigelow’s works will be featured in the Media Arts Show at the Electronic Literature Organization’s 2008 conference in Vancouver, Washington. The pieces selected are “When I Was President” (2007), “Lord’s Prayer, The” (2007), “Because You Asked” (2006), and MyNovel.org (2006).

In January 2008, webyarns.com was one of six sites mentioned on NewMediaFix.org’s Features Page as “FEATURE: Selection of Recent Online and Offline Projects, January 08.” This post was subsequently reblogged on Rhizome.org’s homepage.
