Mark Goldman, a local author and entrepreneur, will present “Learning about Buffalo History: Ideas, Methods and Strategies,” as part of the Buffalo History Speaker Series on Tuesday, February 26 at 6 p.m. in the Huber Hall Library.
Goldman has played a role in revitalizing the cultural life of downtown Buffalo. His recent book,
City on the Edge: Buffalo, NY: 1900-Present, presents a historical treatment of Buffalo’s economy, culture, demographics along with a picture of what the future of Buffalo holds.
This event is free and open to the public. A question and answer session and refreshments will follow. The Buffalo History Speaker Series is sponsored by the Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies Departments at Medaille College.
