by Kara Kane on January 23, 2008

When Good Thinking Goes Bad CoverDr. Todd Riniolo’s new book, When Good Thinking Goes Bad: How Your Brain Can Have a Mind of Its Own (Prometheus, 2008), has been released. The book poses such questions as:

In 1975 who warned us “the world as we know it will likely be ruined before the year 2000″?
What role (if any) did critical thinking play in the famous “Monkey Trial”?
What was Albert Einstein’s failure as a critical thinker?

Dr. Riniolo will give a talk on Saturday, January 26 at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo, 695 Elmwood Avenue (corner of Elmwood & West Ferry). He is an associate professor of psychology at Medaille.
