Athletes of the Week - December 17, 2007
In a 2-0 week for the Lady Mavs, Amanda Baker (Sr. – Lyons, NY/Women’s Basketball) scored 45 points and grabbed 19 rebounds. She became the first Medaille player, male or female, to reach the 900 rebound mark for a career. She currently has 908 rebounds.
In their only game of the week, a hard-fought 62-60 loss at Fredonia State, James McNeil (Sr. – Erie, PA/Men’s Basketball) tallied 27 points and grabbed 4 boards to lead the Mavs. James is closing in on the school’s all-time scoring mark; he currently has 1,213 points and is 67 away from owning that mark.
