Paquin to Present “A Craft Lecture”

Ethan PaquinEthan Paquin’s presentation, “A Craft Lecture,” scheduled for Monday, November 19, has been postponed. This event is part of the College Colloquium series. Paquin will discuss current issues related to American poetry, and give critical and intellectual insight on the craft of poetry.

Paquin, assistant professor of English, is the author of several poetry books, including his most recent work, My Thieves (Salt, 2007). His poems have appeared in such journals as The Colorado Review, Fence, The Boston Review, Boulevard, New American Writing, Quarterly West, Jacket (Australia), and Meanjin (Australia). He is author of a novella-in-progress, an excerpt from which appears in Esquire (“Napkin Project,” Feb. 2007). The founder and editor of the online literary journal Slope and the small poetry press, Slope Editions, Paquin’s teaching interests and research areas include modern and postmodern American and international poetry, as well as film and popular culture studies.
