Dr. Moyer Joins the Medaille Faculty

Brian Moyer, Ph.D., has begun teaching as a clinical assistant professor in the Institute for Professional Psychology. Dr. moyer was licensed as a psychologist in 1994 after completing his doctoral studies in clinical psychology with a concentration in clinical child psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi.

He spent six years teaching as an adjunct at Argosy University in Atlanta in its doctoral program in clinical psychology and master’s program in counseling. He also spent seven years at the Atlanta North Center for Change in Georgia, providing individual, couples, and family therapy, as well as psychological assessment to children, adolescents, and adults.

Topics for his previous speaking engagements have included Testing and the Gifted Child, the Oppositional Defiant Child, and Discipline with Love: Children Between the Ages of 0 and 5.

Dr. Moyer will teach in undergraduate courses in the Education and Social Sciences departments, and a graduate course in the master of arts in psychology program. He will be dedicated to the Doctoral Program in Professional Psychology (PsyD) upon the establishment of the program into the College.
