Jadwiga Domino, assistant professor in the Mathematics and Sciences Department, was invited to attend an Introductory Statistics Workshop called “Navigating the First Statistics Service Course” at the Damon Campus of Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY on August 6-10, 2007. This workshop was sponsored by CAUSE (Consortium for the Advancement of Undergraduate Statistics Education). Her attendance at the workshop was funded by a National Science Foundation grant. Workshop attendees were taken on a tour of Xerox Corporation’s facilities, where they participated in a presentation about “Statistics on the Job.”
