The Class of 2011 Class is Full

The office of admissions has announced that the freshmen class for the fall of 2007 is full. As the fall semester approaches, Medaille is expecting its second straight year of record freshmen enrollment, with an incoming class of nearly 400 students.

“We targeted an incoming freshman class of 330, but we are now nearing close to 400 freshmen students next month,” said Dr. Richard Jurasek, president of Medaille College. “Having a full freshmen class is very exciting news, not only for Medaille, but it is also important for growth in the Buffalo community.”

Applications are still being accepted from undergraduate transfer students for the Fall of 2007, and the college is also accepting freshmen and transfer applications for the Spring of 2008. The college is still accepting applications for its master’s programs in education, business, mental health counseling, psychology and leadership as well.

The Medaille office of admissions was recently presented an award for excellence at the National Conference on Student Recruitment, Marketing and Retention in Orlando, Florida. The award recognized the college’s admissions department for last September’s record recruitment class.
